Nick Calla
President / Owner

With a diversified background in employee benefits, group retirement and planning, Nick recognized the dire need to bring a higher level of personalized service to the financial services industry. After co-founding Eagle Bay Financial Services Ltd. with his wife Ida, Nick has sought to build his business by providing a workplace that attracts and retains quality employees. His approach to including employees as part of his family is also a process that his company adopts for its clients.

Ida Sue Calla
Vice President

Ida brings more than 30 years of combined office management experience in her role as operations manager for Eagle Bay Financial Services Ltd. Before co-founding the company she worked in the insurance industry for over 12 years, cultivating a deep knowledge of the industry and building relationships. Her familiarity with organization development theories and methods benefit both the people working for Eagle Bay Financial Services Ltd. as well as the clients we provide services to.

Amanda Willett
Manager, Group Retirement | Licensed Financial Advisor

Amanda has been with Eagle Bay Financial Services Ltd. for nearly 10 years. Throughout this duration, Amanda has been a Licensed Financial Advisor providing services and support to all of our group retirement clients. In 2012 Amanda was appointed as Manager – Group Retirement. Amanda is currently working towards CEBS accreditation and an RPA designation through IFEBP. Amanda is a dedicated resource to plan members of our group retirement clients, providing personalized one on one planning assistance. Amanda is responsible for the group retirement business development and ongoing group retirement service.

Amanda is a wife, mother of 2 and can be found on the soccer field, cheering for her kids on the sidelines or hiking the North Shore trails with her mini bull terrier Lucy.

Cory St. Jean
Manager, Group Benefits

Cory comes to Eagle Bay Financial Services Ltd. with over 15 years of experience in the employee benefits industry working with diverse employee groups in the credit union, professional association and multi-employer sectors.

He is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), a graduate of the BCIT Human Resource Management Program and believes strongly in lifelong learning.

Cory`s commitment to provide quality benefit plans that meets the needs of his clientele exemplifies his professionalism and expertise. He is passionate about putting the client first, working collaboratively with colleagues and building lasting relationships with all stakeholders. Cory’s professional motto is, “There Is  Always A Better Way” and he applies that to all aspects of service delivery to clients.

Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Cory is a lifelong fan of the Winnipeg Jets, an avid curler and golfer, and enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends and solving puzzles of any kind.

Leanne MacKinnon
Manager, Employee Benefits

Leanne has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry working with major insurance companies. She is a licensed insurance advisor and has her GBA designation. Leanne is committed to providing the highest level of customer service and is also responsible for the development of new business.

Leanne lives in Coquitlam with her husband, two young daughters and dog, Duke. When she’s not at work you will find her enjoying the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Skiing, hiking, riding her bike and walking along the many spectacular trails the Lower Mainland has to offer are some of her favourite hobbies.

Over ten years of financial and administrative experience working for a leading bank and a national insurance company allows Tiziana to provide sound guidance for all of our clients’ group retirement plan administration needs. As one of the senior representatives for Eagle Bay Financial Services Ltd., Tiziana’s professionalism and outgoing personality are of great benefit to our team and to our clients that require a quick understanding of their questions as well as prompt solutions.

Rita has more than 25 years of client and customer service experience and has always been committed to providing the highest level of customer service possible. Fostering strong relationships and becoming a trusted partner is Rita’s main focus.

Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, Rita enjoys the outdoors and the many local trails. She lives in Coquitlam with her husband, two sons and Olde English Bulldog, Angus. When she’s not at work you will find her spending time with family, watching her boys play hockey and lacrosse and volunteering her time with Coquitlam Minor Lacrosse. Rita is an avid cook and enjoys shopping at local farmers markets.

Lauren Teasdale comes to Eagle Bay Financial Services Ltd. with First Nations group benefits experience. As a service representative, Lauren acts as the liaison between plan administrators and the benefits carriers.

Lauren started her career in early 2015 working for a national Third Party Administrator in the New Business department providing financial quotes to Advisor partners. Over the years her responsibilities increased as she transitioned to a Client Manager role. She believes in continuous learning and personal development; therefore, she is working towards a GBA designation through IFEBP.

Lauren was born and raised in the tri-cities and currently reside in Maple Ridge with her husband, 2 sons and step-daughter. When Lauren is not at work, you will find her cheering on her children at the hockey rink, lacrosse box and soccer field.

Shellie comes to Eagle Bay Financial Services Ltd. with over 23 years of experience in insurance, dentistry, recreation, and education industries that require special focus on attention to service.

Providing exceptional customer service to clients is not just a goal, but the heart of who Shellie is. Therefore, she prides herself on the relationships that she has fostered and maintained over the years. For Shellie ensuring the highest level of professionalism is important when servicing clients.

Shellie lives in Coquitlam with her husband and three teenaged children. As a family, they enjoy the local trails, concerts, movies and travelling. In her free time and when not watching her son plays baseball, Shellie is an avid home decorator, crafter and baker.

AJ has built her career in sales with a variety of roles in several industries including tourism, aviation, and transportation. After 7 years of experience, she has decided to shift her focus towards a career in marketing so she moved to Canada and enrolled in a Marketing Diploma at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She is responsible for the creation and management of all marketing activities and materials you can think of at Eagle Bay Financial Services Ltd.

AJ loves outdoors; she is a big camper and hiker. She supports Vancouver`s Greenest City goals, therefore, commutes with her bike as her primary mode of transportation. AJ also has a great passion for travelling, sustainable architecture, interior design, and photography. According to her Vancouver is a great subject, therefore, you may come across her out on the street while bicycling and taking pictures, exploring the natural environment in Vancouver.

Marilyn Hughes
Office Administrator

Marilyn will welcome you to our office with her friendly smile and assist your phone calls with both courtesy and professionalism. She has more than 25 years of customer service in hospitality and liquor industries. She is an efficient worker and a great team member who coordinates everything in the office.

Marilyn is a long-time resident of the North Shore who is raising two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and animals.
